“I wanna be back to Apanemo!”
Lookig for a reasonably-priced hotel in Santorini? Well then look no further! First of all, Apanemo's price/value ratio is unbeatable. Secondly, the location is lovely, with a birds view of the caldera and surrounding fields. Third, Spiros` hospitality and service are among the best I have found. “Stunning views over the ocean.”
Amazing hotel with the best views over the ocean. The owner personally picked up us at the airport, so our first impression couldn't be better. The hotel is in a very quiet area, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Nice super clean rooms, not too big, not too small and well furnished, private balcony, but seriously the best are the views! The swimming pool is amazing with a very clear water. We stayed for 1 week and didn't want to leave.
We had the vacation of our lives. We will for sure be back next year. Thanks all the staff for making our stay unforgettable! ” —Stayed August 2011, traveled as a couple, Bruges, Belgium

“Amazing scenery, nice place, decent location”
Unfortunately the hotel wasn't able to pick us up at the port when we arrived, and the taxi ride wasnt particularly cheap. From then on, it was great. The hotel site is spectacular, with gorgeous views. We had a great room, with privacy, our own lovely balcony, and a fantastic view. The owner recommended a nice restaurant nearby, where we had a lovely dinner with friendly service while we watched the world-famous Santorini sunset. It wasn't close to Fira or Oia, but there's a bus service fairly close by that quickly and cheaply gets you to either city to explore and wander. The only drawback to that mode of transport is that the walk back to the hotel from the bus would be a bit tricky in dark, as it's a windy steep path and not marked, so we felt like we had to get back before dark (although we could have taken a taxi).
The breakfast at the hotel was quite nice, and even though it was fullly booked while we were there (with a large group from Germany) I didn't feel lost in the shuffle or ignored at all. Happily they were able to take us to the airport when it was time to leave, and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an inexpensive way to see Santorini, and if/ when Akrotiri opens, it will be a fantastic spot! ” —Stayed May 2011, traveled as a couple, Waterloo, Canada
